description :Human SHBG / Sex Hormone Binding Globulin ELISA Kit PicoKine® (96 Tests). Quantitate Human SHBG in cell culture supernatants, cell lysates, serum and plasma (heparin, EDTA). Sensitivity: 0.001 nmol/L.
Cell localization :Secreted. In testis, it is synthesized by the Sertoli cells, secreted into the lumen of the seminiferous tubule and transported to the epididymis.
Storage conditions :Store at 4°C for 6 months, at -20°C for 12 months. Avoid multiple freeze-thaw cycles (Ships with gel ice, can store for up to 3 days in room temperature. Freeze upon receiving.)
Assay inforation :For serum, dilution ratio is 1:1000 and concentration is around 130nmol/l. For plasma, dilution ratio is 1:10 and concentration is around 2nmol/l.
