Last Friday, July 23rd, the entire team of Abyntek Biopharma celebrated the 15th anniversary of the company in an event where the most important milestones achieved in recent years and the new projects that we will start in the coming months were recapitulated.
Since its foundation in 2006 at the Bizkaia Technology Park, Abyntek has worked with the aim of developing, producing and commercializing antibodies and bioreactives for application in biomedical research, especially in the fields of oncology, neurodegenerative diseases and immunology, until becoming a national leader in the supply of these reagents and in the custom production of monoclonal and polyclonal antibodies.
On the occasion of its 15th anniversary, Abyntek has presented the economic data of the last years of activity, which reflect an increase in its turnover of 110% compared to 2016, underpinning its growth and consolidating itself as a reference company for the supply of reagents for biomedical research.
But the company does not only make a satisfactory balance in terms of economic results, but also highlights the more than positive evolution based on the growth of its human team, diversification of business lines, market consolidation and internationalization perspectives.
Looking at the future, Abyntek’s most immediate plans include moving in the coming months to its new corporate facilities to continue growing and expanding the portfolio of innovative products and services and the launch of new antibodies and kits against cancer biomarkers to continue providing quality reagents for biomedical research. In addition, different strategies will be implemented to strengthen the responsibility and social commitment of the company.
